Our Happy Days Eco Village, comprising apartments equipped with individual kitchens and bathrooms, features housing units constructed entirely from reclaimed materials. The wooden dwellings, known as gladaks, are refurbished traditional Javanese houses that have been in existence for a minimum of 80 years. Many of the furnishings are crafted from recycled boat wood and fallen tree roots. Upon closer inspection, one can observe that all the doors, windows, and ironmongery within the village are repurposed and recycled.
